Police Verification is taking too much time

Police Verification is taking too much timeI have applied for my passport on 10/02 and the status shows that "Police Verification (PV) has been initiated and a PV request has been sent to DCSC Office, District Kolkata. Your passport will be dispatched after Clear Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office." Even till date there has been no change in the status neither any pv hasbeen done.

While applying at Passport Kendra, i was told that a maximum of 45 days for PV can take!!!

No help is being received from customer care. My file number is CA2061370208612.i have an urgency also..plz help... Kindly looking for assistance at this juncture.
