Torn/open position of parcel

I have taken sevices of Mid Way courier first time but had very bitter experience. I had sent one cover from your veraval branch to ahmedabad on 17/9/10 vide docket no.01027816i was promised that cover will be dilivered by 1 pm positively but inspite od my repeated reminders it could be delivered by 3.30 pm. i couls have accepted the delay but the most disappointing part is that cover was received in fully torn and open position and the inside contents were damaged. I am really very disappointed with such act on part of midway courier and why i should pay the courier charges for such irresposible act on part of midway courier.
