Water bills

Against the water consumption there is a rate Rs.120.00 fixed by GVMC-VSKP of each and every residential owners of Visakhapatnam and the system of issuing water-bills on monthly basis is not in practice with the staff of GVMC-VSKP and to avoid their routine work they are not issuing water bills some years together and thus they are in the practice of issuing with huge amount water bills at a time for one or two years. Even after query from the concerning staff they are not caring without disciplinary authority. This is one kind of harassment for the residents of poor category in view of their financial impediments. In view of these circumstances The COMMISSIONER of GVMC-VSKP is requested to draw his attention on this issue and requested to probe an investigation as to why the monthly water bill should be introduced on monthly basis or quarterly./Thanking you
