It has been noted that for the past 3 to 4 months, the water supply to the area of Vivekanand Nagar, in Shapur Nagar, has been reduced intentionally or unintentionally, unclear, and the residents are having a tough time dealing with the situation. Numerous complaints lodged with the water department local authorities has gone to the deaf ear and no action has been taking so far. It looks like now the department is only meant for collection of bills monthly and nothing else.
It is also a known fact that some residents of the locality are bend on using water pump motors to drawn water since the water pressure is very low and thus denying the single pot water which they were getting so far. Some action is required at the earliest. It does not make sense to pay the monthly bills on time and not able to get even the basic drinking water. Prompt action is required regarding this issue.
