Auto/Taxi meters

Greetings,

I am employee in Deloitte, and often i take auto from Paradise hotel to Hi-Tech. I complain most auto drivers have manipulated there meters and traffic police is aware of the fact. Today i came one auto it was showing distance 25 kms and 140/rs but actual distance from there is only 15-17 kms. That can be confirmed. I fought to auto driver and he also rerdy to fight i went to Traffic police he shon him meter. I wonder by just looking meter (which driver had already initialized, and something that driver said to police which i didnt understand) Traffic police said it is fine and didnt listen to me.

I had been in different cities, But i see in Hyderbad traffic police see IT employee as main source of income now and then do checking and ask for money without reason. They doesnt care for Traffic rule violation people driving in wrong direction, without helmat. And mainly Autos which didnt go generally for near distance if you ask them. and Manipulate meters.

Please look into matter.
