Passport Delay

Hi,

I had applied for my passport on 3rd of January at the Hyderabad office (HYD-F000134-11 of Name: MURUGAN RAJA) however have still not received the passport. I understand that a regular passport application would only take maximum of 3 months to be processed however I have been waiting for 7 months now without any sign of the passport

The current status on the website shows “It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the dispatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be dispatched in a week's time” however this is the status on the website for over a month. Due to this delay i am unable to plan my business travel

I would request the concerned authorities to look into the delay
