Illegal Commercial Office in Res colony

Dear Sir,

We the undersigned are owners / residents at C 51 Gulmohar Park. New Delhi 110049. We have been living in these premises for 17 years now. Myself Sachin Wadhwa own one flat in this building in which I stay and my Father Shri. Lalit Wadhwa owns another flat in which he and my mother along with my younger sister reside. Mrs. Shanta Sarabjeet Singh owns a flat on the 1st floor and stays there along with her adult son Mr. Vishwajeet Singh. The ground floor flat is owned by Mrs. Krishan Kumar.

The ground floor people have been leasing their part of their property to lease it out on rent on various occasions to people who are using the same as a commercial establishment without any security / background checks thereby creating a security risk to all the residents & neighbors. The current tenant on the ground floor is using the premises as a property brokerage office. With the current tenant and his behavior and the kind of people seen lurking around the premise I feel unsafe for myself, my parents, my younger sister and so does Mrs Sarabjeet Singh a well-known Sr. citizen & Vice Chairman of the Governments Apex body, the Sangeet Natak academy. The current tenant has indulged in all kinds of crude and unsavory behavior including drinking on the premises at odd hours, creating nuisance and noise along with his hooligan buddies A couple of days ago, in the background of this kind of behavior these guest of his blocked the entire parking and prevented me the legitimate resident & owner from parking my car for the night. I had to call the Police. I have a young sister who works at NDTV and has odd working hours. Having such encounters with this tenant I feel unsafe for her, my family and neighbors.. This unscrupulous and undesirable character along with the support of the ground floor lady has the nerve to block all the parking slots and threaten us residents. Last night there were 15-20 suspicious strange men who were seen drinking and creating so much nuisance that I wanted to leave my house and go stay somewhere else for the night since I was alone at home.

We did not create an issue in the past because we wanted to live in peace with our neighbors and wanted to avoid any bad feelings. However now I am forced to write this complaint as the situation has gone out of control and the limit of my endurance has been surpassed.

We the undersigned request you to kindly take appropriate measures and have this place closed down for the peace & security of us residents.
