INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUAL
PASSPORT VERIFICATION

Dear Sir,

For a job offer in Libya Igot a passport issued under Tatkal scheme on 5th Jan. As it was a teaching assignment I had to join at the earliest so I left India after a few days before the photo verification was completed. Now I find that I cannot travel to any other country because of this lapse. I wish to say that what is the sense of issuing the passport under Tatkal and taking the big fee and not completing the process of verification. The policeman deputed to verify came in June 09, six months after the passport was issued. Kindly tell me if this job can be done by the Embassy of India here in Libya, or any other way in order to ease my travelling.
