Indian Passport Issue
Same Passport Status for last 4 months

Hi,

This complaint is on behalf of my parents.

My parent submitted the passport application at Kolkata Passport Head Office on Feb.

After 3 months (April) they have been called for police verifications at chinchura police station (DIB).

My parents went there and produced al documents proofs asked by verification officer and they took few documents.

Now After 3 months (July) of police verification the status of passport still showing as “Police report has not been received”.

After 6 months of Passport application My parents have no idea what to do now or how long they wait to receive the passport.

I am really frustrated and irritated to see this kind of delays/negligence in this kind of high important government duties/jobs.

My kind request to passport higher authority to look at this case and help to get my parents their passport.
