Non Delivery of registered letter dated 16th Dec

A registered letter was booked on 16th Dec with RL 5.

It has not been delivered and the post master has given me in writing that the letter cannot be traced.

Please let me know if I can approach the consumer court for deficency in services if anyone has experienced this.

I would want a compensation from the postal department.
