Missing international mail sent from US

Hello,

I had sent a mail from US to India by USPS here and it's more than a 20 days and the mail is missing. I have the receipt number of USPS i.e. LC37 1018 626U S.

USPS said they sent it to india but it is missing in Indian Postal and Delivery Services. My friend had simmilar incident few months back and it's happening quite a lot many times whoever doesn't opt for tracking number.
