Indian Post (many items missing and found trash/garbage in parcel!)

Dear Sir,

My parents send me a parcel from Ujjain (M.P) to Japan on 25th March via Speed Post. It contained books, some eatable items, expensive sunglasses and new clothes. I found the parcel to be in bad condition upon receiving (on 31st March). My sunglasses and clothes were missing. My parents had wrapped the clothes properly. But, upon opening the parcel, it was all messed up. Somebody has definitely opened the parcel.

What is worse is that, I found scrap papers (garbage) and heavy scrap Indian magazines (total 6 of them!) in my parcel. My parents definitely didn't put that scrap into the parcel. The parcel was opened in India. This is utter carelessness on the part of Indian Post.

My parents saved a lot of money to buy those things as they are very costly in Japan. I am a student here. I belong to middle class family. I felt really bad upon opening the parcel.

Please tell me what should I do now? Should I file an FIR in police station or directly file complaint in Consumer Court? Please advice me step by step. I shall be thankful.
