Passport application

Sir,

I had applied for passports for myself, my wife and son through speed post on 19th January. Today after exactly 51 days of submission, when I went to the passport office to verify the status, I was shocked to know that my application could not be traced on the computer there. I fail to understand where the mistake lies. I have planned to go abroad in the first week of April and for this purpose I need to get my passport first (without which I cannot even block my tickets) which follows with the visa and other formalities. Now the delay has caused lot of inconvenience and mental agony for no fault of ours. With a request that your esteemed office will intervene and help me out in getting the passports in a day or two, I submit the following details :
