Taking of excess money

My ECS has been taken from the bank as well as cash from home. My ECS has been taken twice. Due to excess money recieved, your bank returned the money to me but not the full excess amount. your bank deducted rs 450/- then gave me the amount. I want to know the reason of deduction of money.
