Delay in supply of LPG

I have my LPG connection with Lakshmi Gas Agency, Vellore.

My consumer no. is 29144

I have booked a gas on 08/12/09 .

Till date (19/12/09) i have not received my cylinder. On enquiry on 19/12/09 I was told that it will take another 4-5 days.

I want to know whether there is really a shortage of cylnders, as we always here that there is no shortge from govt agencies.
