6 year National Savings Certificate
Problem in encashing after maturity

Sir,

I bought one 6 year National Savings Certificate bearing No 31BB 229940 on 24.2.2006 from

Khairatabad Head Post Office Hyderabad. It was matured on 24.2.2012. Since I have

settled at Nacharam, I approached Nacharam Post Master for encashment of the said NSE,

He has forwarded Zerox copy of NSC alongwith my application for transfer of above

NSC to Nacharam Post Office. After a lapse of one and half month, I approached Khairatabad

Post Master to know the present Status. He informed me that the certificate was already transferred

to Nacharam PO on 8th Mar itself. Even after a lapse of more than 2 months, it has not

reached Nacharam PO. Within the city it has not reached the destination Nacharam PO

even after 2 months time. See the efficiency of Indian postal Department. Who will solve my problem.

Who is responsible for the inordinate delay?
