Status of the Pass Port

Dear Sir,

I had submitted my passport application form on 05th Dec and the police verification was also done by 21 DEC 09 but the status of the Application showing that the "Please check the file number entered, including the year of submission, and Date of Birth as the details do not match that of any file available in our database".

This has been same since last 1 month. as on date I am unable to veiw my Status in your site nor the any information regarding my file.

Please let me know what is the actual status of my file and when my passport will be issued?
