Harassment by MCD employee

We are writing this letter to lodge a specific complaint in regard to harassment given to us by some people claimed to be from Mobile Court of MCD.

We are the owners of property situated at F-10, Geetanjali Enclave, New Delhi. We have deposited all the necessary fee with your department such as Cess, stacking charges, betterment charges, levy charges etc. that is required under the provisions of law. We have started the construction of building after getting the plans approved by the MCD.

However one person namely Mr. Prem Kumar claiming to be Inspector under Municipal magistrate, mobile Court – south Zone of MCD at Gulmohar Park, has been visiting the construction site and harassing us by making unfounded allegations of stacking Malba on the road. He started demanding Rs. - monthly as bribe during construction period from our site supervisor Mr. Sanjeev Jain but he refused. Then he insisted speaking to Manager in the office, when The Manager also refused, to scare us he issued us a challan, which we promptly paid.

Now he is threatening us that he will keep on issuing many such challans in future on this or that pretext. He has warned us in case we do not pay him he has the right to stop our construction and issue even warrants, .

We are law abiding citizens of the country and do not want to indulge in corrupt practices. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful so that he does not mis-use his powers
