SEWAGE LINE

In Saket, due to some construction activities going around in M Block (opposite Marriott hotel, near Sanatam Dharam mandir) the rain water line has been blocked and now the sewage water is following through the rain water line. Due to dumping of the construction and other wastes the lines has been blocked and the water level in this line has risen at an alarming rate. Now it has become a dumping ground for all the wastes. A further cause of concern is that this line is not covered and is a major ground for mosquito breeding and possibly Dengue mosquitoes. Residents have complained several times but no action is being taken. Only some fine has been imposed on the builder and nothing beyond that. We suspect that there might be some corruption involved here. Incase this doesn’t get sorted out soon, then adverse actions will have to be taken against MCD.
