Mirzapur Consumer Court
Huge Delay in decision

Hi,

I have heard that, consumer court is a weapon with the common Indian citizen with the help of which, he can fight for his rights. I have also heard that the consumer court should give decision within 6 months of time.

But to my dismay, It's been 2 years, my father has raised a case at consumer court against an insurance company, but till date he is struggling with this issue. Consumer court of Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh) is not coming up with any decision since last two years.

Kindly suggest me, where can I go and address this issue?
