Duplicate mis/rd pass book from Uppal PO

I have misplaced my mis/rd pass books and went to Uppal Post Office for duplicate pass books. I was asked to lodge a complaint at uppal police station, which was done by me with due acknowledgement from them. Uppal PS asked me to go to eseva to apply for the same. I thereafter paid Rs.10/- for the application form and Rs.200/- for their services, at eseva, vide R.No.103206;Trans.no. HBGO02448369 dt.9.12.11. The receipt showed that the same would be delivered by courier on or before 30.12.11 . Till date, I am waiting for the reply from Uppal PS though more than a month has passed. I am in urgent need of the duplicate pass book. I fail to understand, that for a simple task of issuing a duplicate pass book why am I made to run from pillar to post for no reason, especially when no column is provided in eseva for post office document issuance? I am made to waste both time and money for no reason. My identification can be easily verified through my pan card and driving license, then why all this fuss and unnecessary delay?
