NON PAYMENT OF PENSION

Sir,

We want to inform you that my father was working as Sub Divsional Manager in Orissa Forest Development Corporation. after his retirement he is being harassed by the corporation authorities. He was not paid full terminal benefits after moving towards courts he has got some epf amount but he is failed to get pension. My fathers EPF no. is EPF OR No. OR616/631, PPO No. 9619 dated 15/11, Pension No. 9610. Pension payment was started pension @ 989/- p.m. from october but unfortunately after one month, payment of pension was stopped. When the pensioner enquired about his pension to his payee bank SBI (Umerkote), they informed to submit life certificate and the same was submitted in time but pension payment not started. When the pensioner enquired to know the fact from Bhubaneswar EPF Office, one member asked to send Rs. 500/- and the same was also delivered to him but when the pensioner want to ask for his pension they replied we are sending. But why they are not sending & harassing the pensioner who resides more than 550 kilometers away from Bhubaneswar and it is not possible to visit a long distance by bus where Railway lines are not connected.
