Dear Sir,

My Pan Card Acknowledgement no. is 881020203328930. I have applied for the Surname change in Pan Card on 10.09.2010. Still I have not received my Pan Card. The online status is same from 20 days i.e. "It is under process at Income Tax Department". But there is no reason specified why it is being delayed. This is for the second time I have filed the application for the surname change, first application I filed in Jan'10 for which all the status is still the same "It is under process at Income Tax Department." Inspite of regular follow-ups via email and phone I am not getting any specific reason why it is still pending.

Please let me know a way out for this.
