I am a resident of 7th street, kandaswamy nagar, palavakkam for the past three years. After moving here we discovered that 7th street, kandaswamy nagar in palavakkam is the most neglected street of all other ones in terms of water, electricity and concrete road.
It has been more than ONE MONTH since we received our panchayat board water in our street. The person incharge of the water supply initially said that the well is dried because of summer so he is not in a position to supply water to our street, then he said the motor for water supply is repaired and it will take more than 20 days to get money and to make it all right. Here the status of ground water/bore water is unless it is purified it cannot be used even for toilets. It is very difficult to adjust with it. So, for the past one month we had been dependent on purified bore water for our livelihood. Now that the water supply incharge person has made the motor ready still he is not supplying water to our street. The reason for this is unknown.
On behalf of the entire 7th street residents i request the organisation to kindly look into the matter and see to it that we get regular water supply.
