Passport not received

Dear Sir,

it has been passed 3 months that I appplied for new passport on 30th May..As for passport office i was told that police verification will be done at my previous address that is Rajanukunte, Addivishwanathapura. But till now nothing has done. Kindly let me know why is being delayed. Thank YOU.
