Not any police verification still now

I applied for passport online.documents has been cleared on 28-06-12. My police verification has been sent on 29-06-12 to sp office of west champaran bettiah, as I asked from regional office. But I didn't get any call or any information for police verification. IT has been passed around 18 days. How can I get the information that what is the status of my inquiry.plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me.
