Passport verification at police station

I am Sabrina Carvalho, I submitted my application for renewal of my passport on 16th Dec and even the application status says awaiting police report, it has not come. I have visited the Hinjewadi police station severally, and still no word on my verification... The polics inspector in charge said that there were chances that the application could have been misplaced.

In this regard, could you let me know the exact police station where the application has gone so that I could contact them for verification.
