Not got passport applied in june 09

My expired passport issued in abudhabi was lost and so after all the process of complaints to the police i gave the application for a fresh passport in june 09 and whenever i checked the passport office site i would find a messg the police verification report was awaited and even when i visited the passport office i was told the same. finally the police verification took place in dec and since then i waited upto two days back and made a visit to the passport office where i was given a form to fill and submit in room no two on the second floor. there i came to know tht they were still awaiting verification from the abudhabi office and if it has been verified from there then the passport wil be issued in ten days will reach home. i do hope things will be made quicker and easier.
