Passport
No clearity on status

Hi,

I applied for my daughter's passport on 15-07. File reference number: HYD-I002115-10.

The status was initially updated in http://passport.gov.in/ that it will be dispatched on 05/08. We had been waiting for passport but we did not get it.

In passport application, it was explicitly mentioned that there wont be police inquiry for kids if all specified documents of both parents are submitted and we DID submit all the documents.

But to my surprise, police inquiry happened in last week of August. After that, in September first week, the status was updated that the passport will be dispatched in a week.

Again after a week, it was updated that the passport will be dispatched on 01/10. I am now not confident that it will be dispatched on 01/10/10.

I don't have any clarity on what is going on. And i have never seen this kind of uncertainty in any case in my life till date. And i have been delaying my onsite trip and waiting for passport. Due to personal reasons, i HAVE to take my family with me. If i don't get this passport in a week time, and get visa stamping in 10 days, i will loose this opportunity. Beg your help in this case.
