PASSPORT NOT RECIEVED AFTER 4 MONTHS OF SUBMITTING

I have given my sons passport who is a minor for renewal on 4 of February. It was to expire in March. After nearly 3 months the police enquiry came but till today the passport is not received.

Status on enquiry page shows police enquiry awaited.

If it takes so long and so much harassment for a renewal of a passport how can the citizens have faith in the passport office. Papers claim that passport is being given in a months time how far is this true.
