Non Receipt of Passport

Dear Sir,

I have applied for passport on 11.01.2011 vide file no GUW-A00110211 online at Guwahati Regional Passport Office. But surprisingly till date neither I have received the same nor any intimation of the status of the same. It is a matter of deep regret that almost one year have passed I am yet to receive the passport till date.

In this regard I would also like to mention that the passport of my wife was already issued & dispatched by the department on 05.12.2011vide postal regn no-524620475 which was received at our end on 09.12.2011 although it was applied on 24.01.2011 vide application no-GUW-A00254111 whereas my application dated 11.01.2011 is still showing "Police report not received" which is really surprising.

Kindly look into the matter & arrange to issue the Passport at the earliest & oblige.
