Non receipt of passport applied for renewal

I have applied for renewal of passport on 10.03.2010 vide file No. BPL R001467. For last three months its status is "Police report has not been received".

I have enquired and checked at MISROD police station as well but no such information for verification is being received by them.

Pl help me in locating the delay.
