NON RENEWAL OF PASSPORT

Sir,

I have applied for renewal of passport in the name of my daughter as per the particulars given below:-

Date of Birth 20.10.1993

Address 302, Sector 9, Pocket 2, SFS, DDA

More then THREE AND HALF MONTHS passed but I have not received any communication from the office so far.

On the web site the status is PENDING FOR WANT OF POLICE VERIFICATION.

In this regard I submit that the applicant my daughter was MINOR on the day of submission of renewal application i.e. 8.9.2010. Accordingly I submitted the copy of my valied passport along with the copy of my wife passport (father and mother of the applicant) with the application. The address in the renewal application and father and mother passport is same. But still the web site is showing the status PENDING FOR WANT OF POLICE VERIFICATION. As per scheme the police verification is not required in such cases of renewal.

Kindly advise me the futher course of action as number of mails have not been replied so far and no response on the telephone.
