My son's Passport Status "Others"

Dear Sir,

I have filed an application for the passport of my Son on 13-10 regional passport office.

The details of the application are as follows:

Applicant Name: Zainuddin Ahmed

File reference no: HYD- c016457-09

Application Date : 13-10

Until three weeks ago the status showed as follows:

"Please furnish attested copy of father’s passport”. Please note that I have submitted my copies 4 times till date 06-01-10 but nothing happened, and now it shows “others”

However, when I sms on the Passport sms enquiry number 9493555577 I get the same message "Please furnish attested copy of father’s passport”.

Could you kindly look into the issue ASAP as I have an opportunity to go abroad, however, due to this delay I might loose that opportunity.

I am disgusted with the in-efficiencies of the Regional Passport Office.
