Passport not received even after 23 days

Sir

I am Vishvendra Bhanu and i had applied for my passport under Tatkaal Scheme on 16/04 File No. T013144 in the Regional Passport Office, New Delhi. I had submitted all the required documents with a Verification Certificate by Deputy Commandant and the Officer there was satisfied with all the documents. As stated i had applied under Tatkaal Scheme to get Passport within 7 days. But almost 23 days have gone and i have not received it yet and the status on the internet says that my passport has been dispatched on 21.04.2010. I have checked it at the post office too but they have not received it.

This delay has costed me a great loss as i needed to give SAT exam for which Passport is a must but the Exam date- 01/05 went and i wasn't able to give the exam. The loss of Exam FEE i.e $92 along with the extra fee of rs. 1500 given to the passport office under tatkaal scheme must be returned to me alongwith the compensation of Mental Tension i am going through due to missing the SAT exam which was very decisive for my career.

I hope you take some action against it.
