Delay In Service

I have applied for my passport on 25-11 at Pune Passport Office. Still its status is " Police Verification has not Received" I enquired at Police Station they said that they have sent reports on 18-12.

Why there is so much delay for issuing passport.

My Application number is PNE-D017423.

I heard that Passport Department is thinking to assign Tata company as a vendor cause of that there is delay for issuing passport.

Plz look into the matter on priority basis.

Pls Reply None of your officer take effort to reply to mail though their mail ID given on website. I dont know what they do???
