Passport Office Chennai
Not yet received passport even after 1Yr 2Mnths of submission

Hello,

I had applied for passport renewal on 2nd March. Police verification was done on 30th Sep 2009 but till date did not receive my passport. On enquiring the RPO chennai, they said that the status of my file number V001136 is Awaiting verification and that they are waiting for the papers from police. I enquired my police station and they said that they have already sent the papers to RPO. What should I do? Please help in getting my passport. Please.
