Its been a long time I applied for the application. The documents (newspaper cutting, affidavit) regarding change of name were submitted on 7/12.

current status: Passport has been granted and passport allotment is underway.

This status hasn't changed for past one month. I am really in a hurry, have to attend a marriage abroad. Please address my grievances and take necessary steps for speedy delivery of passport.
