This is in regards to my experience at the Delhi Passport Office. I have recently experienced terrible services at the passport office during the submission of my file. There is a situation of chaos upon arrival. Very bad service from the gentleman stamping the forms. You Can see Mismanagement every where. Incompetent staff with lack of information. Long ques on all the counters. None of the staff members provide you with the right information. The staff members on the checking counters are very slow.people from all walks of life come with some problem but it gets even worse when u get in side the passport office.

For even simplest of changes on a passport which occur due to the negligence of passport office, for example: name not printed correctly, incorrect date of birth, or address change, to get these mistakes rectified a common man has to got through a lot of harassment. In such a situation the suggestion would be either privatization or recruiting a competent, young and energetic staff
