Delay in Passport Delivery

I have applied for renewal of my passport on 21-09, later after almost 1.5 months I got police verification done, later the same was gone for a query via CID office as they said postal code not present on application form, for the same I personally went again to passport office and submitted PP form as required, again I got police verification done after 30 days of submitting my PP form, later it got cleared from CID office and still it is pending with passport officials, I personally went to office and got the reply saying it is in process, but no proper date being given, can somebody please help me regarding the same.
