Delay in issuing the passport

Sir

I have applied for new passport on dated 19/08/10, passport file number PAT- A019857 and police verification is also done. But still I did not get my passport yet.online status is expected to be despatched by 17-08 but not yer delivered.

Please help me out to get my passport as soon as possible from your good office.
