Passport delay vene after IPS ofiicer's request

I am Satyavati Kharde, my file no. is HYDH01664310. I applied for my passport on 19 august. for quick proceesing of my passport, an IPS OFFICER have requested and as well called them to dispatch my passport at the earliest and supposedly after police verification on 5 of september my passport should reach me in 10 days by then. its been 50 days and online status shows the date of dispatch as 8 oct.

I DIDNOT RECEIVE MY passport til date.

Is the word of an IPS officer taken so lightly or they dont consider IPS officers?? i really cant understand this.

I need my passport at the earliest. as my admissions abroad are pending.

Please help!
