GRE ON 16th MARCH, DIDN'T RECEIVED MY PASSPORT-- APPLIED ON 26th JULY -(File no: HYD W 239834 10)(Passport no: J 2811314)

Respected Sir/Madam,

Re: Hardships in getting passport, for the purpose of taking my GRE exam.

I am DINESH ALAPATI pursuing my B-tech 3rd year in Malla Reddy Engg College, Secunderabad, ANDHRA PRADESH. The purpose of writing this letter is to mention the Hardships in getting my passport. I have applied my passport (File no: HYD W 239834 10) on 24th July at post office in Begum pet. I do agree that expecting passport delivery faster is not possible, but I feel 3 months is fairly good time for processing passports. So, I had applied my GRE date on 14th April. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive my passport till date.

Due to the delay in dispatch of the passport, I have rescheduled my exam on 16th March. But even after 6months of applying my passport, I yet didn’t receive my passport. I approached the Regional passport office on 6th Dec the respective officer gave the passport number (Passport no: J 2811314) and told me the dispatched date as 27th Dec. But, I didn’t receive my passport on that date. I have already lost additional amount of 100$ for rescheduling my exam. I request the RPO to please deliver my passport as soon as possible, before 16th March. Every time I visit http://www.passport.tn.nic.in and do a status inquiry it tells me “IT IS TO REGRET THAT DUE TO UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES THE DISPATCH OF PASSPORT HAS BEEN DELAYED AND WILL NOW BE DISPATCHED IN A WEEK’S TIME”. This status was displayed from past 2 months.

Earnestly requesting you to streamline my passport delivery. I hope you would accept my request.
