Complaint against police

Some 4 months back i got my mobile and laptop stolen, i registered a FIR about such incident in the nearby police station, and i came to know that it is possible to track down a mobile through IMEI no, but as i can see they took no action even they didnt went to the spot for investigation too, i am wondering what to do, please help
