Ill behaviour of the Medical Office

Dear Sir,

We had horrible experience yesterday (16 September) afternoon at the Seamen Medical, Nav Bhavan Bldg, Ballard Estate, Ramji Kamani Marg, Mumbai - 400 038

We a group of 28 people had gone to get our 'yellow fever vaccine' done for going to Kenya. We found the officer Dr. P.D. Parmar, who was injecting the vaccine was an absolute maniac. Dr. Parmar is the CMO (NFSG) Port Health Officer Govt. Of India, Port Health Organization. He was drunk on duty, abusive and misbehaving with one and all. Others there said it’s a regular scene there.

It was scary to notice that after the injection the syringes were not destroyed in front of us but stored and kept. We were showered with abuses on enquiring why syringes are not destroyed.

It was shocking to experience such a horrendous treatment in a health organization where care, help, politeness are the basic hygiene we expect..

We sincerely appeal and request you to make a honest enquiry to avoid such ill behaved fanatic treatments to ordinary citizens.
