Reg Handing over of Passport

Dear Sir / Madam,

I had applied for renewal of my Passport on 07th March vide Application No. C00605611. I had applied from Kerala only and while applying, I had given my old address since no proof was available with me of my new address as I got married last year in July and was forced to forward the application thru my old address only.

Now, It is understood from my parents, that the Postman with my renewed Passport has came to my house and since I was not present/available, he had not given the same to my parents and took back to Post office and shall be keeping it for seven working days and then after, it will be sent back to Thiruvananthapuram Passport office.

Now, I am residing at Surat and it is not possible to come personally to Cherukole and collect the Passport. I had request thru a letter to Postmater of Cherukole (Pin Code - 689650) for handing over the same to my father Mr George C Thomas and I take the all responsibility. If the above is not at all possible kindly send the Passport to my present residing address thru India Post. As per the Postmaster, both the above options are not possible as per the rules.

In this suitation, what shall I do? Hope you understand my concern and shall be waiting for your favorable response.
