Posting Mortgage payments

After making my mortgage payment on bill pay through my bank on June 1, HSBC sent my payment back on June 11 and said that they need a Cashiers Check from my bank. So I went to my bank and purchased a cashiers check and mailed it back to the same address on June 16, by Priority Mail at the Post Office. They called me on June 23, stating that they did not receive the payment. I was told by an HSBC agent that I should go to my bank to have them reissue another cashiers check. I was so upset, the fact that i had sent a cashiers check on June 16 and they had not received it. So I went to the U.S. Post Office to check the status of the check I had mailed and the Postal clerk told me that the check was delivered to the HSBC address in Hanover, Maryland on June 22. I called HSBC to let them know that it was received by the office in Hanover, Maryland. I then faxed them a copy of my receipt of the cashiers check. I still was receiving calls from agents of HSBC saying that they did not get my June payment. After all of the harassing calls, I decided to go to my bank to place a stop payment on the check and my bank said the check had been cashed by HSBC on June 25. So I then called the customer resolution department and they told me to fax a copy of the check to their office on July 16. I am still receiving calls from India about my account. I am writing to complain about how HSBC is handling this problem. This not the first time I have had problems with HSBC. Previously I made a payment Western Union and had the same problem with them posting my payment. I think this is a way that they can add late fees to my account. They are costing me more money, especially when I am running back and forth to the Bank, Post office, Currency Exchange and making fax copies. I am very disappointed and unhappy about they way HSBC is handling this problem. Before it took them 4 months to post the payment to my account. So far it has taken them 1 month. Which keep my account showing as delinquent.
