My Address at Kashipur is

Flat No 4, 2nd Floor, A wing, Asthan Orange wings, Ramnagar Road, Kashipur

We currently stay in Mumbai

We have purcahsed this flat from the Builder (a Joint Partnership 7 Partners) in December. They are registerd in the name of 'Asthan Habitat Solutions' with the state of Uttarakhand, India.

Unfortunately One of the Partners Mr Sanjay Agrawal is a distant relative of ours and we trusted his word of mouth.

After the Agreement was made & registered we had to travel from Mumbai to Kashipur atleast 20 times before we got the final possession in March. That to after forcibly getting the work completed by his labor, tough he had already taken the entire payment from us.

In July'09, during rains the house started getting flooded and we realised that there was a crack in Vertical Beam/ Column in our flat. This crack is too big and visible from a distance of more than 50 mtrs. It is lateral crack throught out the Column/ Beam.

He is planning to install 2 more flats above ours. The column may not be able to sustain the weight of additional 2 floors and the entire structure would just colapse like a pack of cards.

We have been requesting this Mr Sanjay Agrawal to get it repaired. He has not been denying it, BUT he is not getting it repaired either. He is more intrested in breaking the wall from inside the house. To which we are refusing.

He has made an offer to repurchase the flat at half the price we paid him.

All his partners are aware of the situation. There attitude seems to be more like "What will these ladies do to us? ". They are evasive when we try to contact them.

How do we proceed? Please guide us.
