I would like to sale my house.

During sale of house, builder charging 5% of sale charge as transfer fee from purcahser.

Now purchaser will not provide this money to builder, due to large amount. Purchaser will like to reduce the sale cost, which will affect me.

I am having question, whether it is legal to ask this amount from builder?
