Illegal Construction of Passage out-side Sixth Floor

The Occupant (Mr. Maneks') of lone Terrace Flat No.:601 on 6th floor in 'A' wing of Bldg. No.12 in Prem Nagar, Borivali (West) as per the address given above in Complaint Subject has constructed passage illegally next to the floor common passage. This passage was constructed by the occupant way back in the year - 1990 -91 which connects their flat of the one part to their own terrace on the other part of the flat. This was not there in the approved plan of the building when the OC was obtained by the builder (M/s. Prem Construction Co.) in later part of the year - 1989. It seems that the flat owner has constructed this passage after he occupied the flat in the year - 1990-91 and no one has objected including the society which was formed & registered way back in the year - 1990-91.
Further, even though if it is approved by the concerned authority in the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, the FSI value of the same has not yet been charged by the society & also the Property Tax & maintenance charges of the said additional construction is not yet started by the society to charge & collect.
It seems that this is going on in connivance with the Society's office bearers' as it seems from the fact that no one has objected to this till to-date even after passing of nearly twenty years' time.
I am one of the occupant & member of the society since the year - 1989 and has noticed this very recently.
As such, I request you to please take up this initiative with the concerned and let me know what action I shall take up immediately here-in-after?
